史德頓島華人基督教會成立於１９７５年８月３日（第一個主日）。本會一直秉承耶穌基督的吩咐，以愛神愛人為宗旨。本會根據聖經的真理設定了一個目標宣言，就是：傳揚福音，關懷肢體，教導信徒，委身事奉，來崇拜真神，完成主的大使命，榮神益人。

本會目前由兩位牧者、兩位長老及執事同工們帶領；主任牧師為馬志遠牧師，英文牧者為賈利牧師，兩位長老為劉憲光醫生及麥文利醫生。本會的事工務求多元化，以適切廣大同胞及會眾兩代的各種需要，計有：主日崇拜、主日學、家庭查經班、團契、祈禱會、探訪、旅行、福音班、佈道會、中文班、英文班、兒童詩班，兒童暑期班及長青之家等。歡迎各界同胞光臨本會，認識福音，得著神為世人預備的豐富恩典和福氣。

Children's Choir

Music is vital in the Christian life. Throughout the ages, music has given added dimension to people's interactions with God; it has served to soothe God's people, challenge his followers, and has has bonded Christians together as they work and witness.

SICCC's Children's Choir aims to nurture an appreciation and an understanding of worship, specifically through music, to children from kindergarten to fifth grade.  We desire for all children to know God, love God, and Praise God.

Through this program, children are exposed to hymns of the faith and develop music skills under the guidance of our choir conductors. As the children meet on a weekly basis to practice for performances scheduled either during special events or Sunday Worship Service, they are able to develop a sense of responsibility, commitment and self-control.

Our Leaders / 牧師-長老-執事

Pastor Ma

Our Senior Pastor, Pastor Stephen Ma, was born and raised in Hong Kong.  He was a teacher before attending the Hong Kong Baptist Theological Seminary.  God called Rev. Ma to become a full time minister and guided him to the U.S. to serve at the Trust In God Baptist Church in Chinatown New York.

At the Trust In God Baptist Church, God guided him to know his wife Irene. They were married in 1995 and have two boys, Daniel and Timothy.  With God’s further grace he was ordained in March and gained his Doctorate degree in May 1998.

On September 11, 2000, he started his new serving journey as a Senior Pastor at the Staten Island Chinese Christian Church.  To him, it was God’s perfect timing for him to serve the TIGBC for 7 years and 7 months before starting a new journey.  With God’s help, Rev. Ma has served at the SICCC for over 10 years.  His vision and goals for the SICCC is to accomplish the Life Development Process for everyone who comes to the church; that is bringing non-believers to accept Jesus Christ as their Savior and Master, baptizing them as a church member, developing them for Christ-like maturity, equipping them for ministry and mission, and most importantly, leading them to worship the worthy triune God.

As a minister being called to preach God’s word, Rev. Ma’s favorite verse is the motto of the Hong Kong Baptist Theological Seminary, in 2 Tim 2:15: “Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.”

王天聲牧師 (PASTOR Timothy Wang) - 國語/ Mandarin

大家好，

我是王天聲牧師( Pastor Timothy Wang)，出生长大于北京，经历了文化大革命和上山下乡的岁月。1980年曾就读于北京外贸学院，1981年来美国留学,在巴尔地摩的Towson State University 本科主修计算机, 82年7月信主。1985年大学毕业后，又到弗吉尼亚州的Old Dominion University 攻读计算机硕士学位，1987年毕业后搬到纽约史德顿岛居住和工作， 1999年蒙神的呼召, 放弃了计算机的工作,全时间事奉神, 到宾州费城的西敏斯神学院和圣经神学院就读神学。2002年神学硕士毕业后,在当地的一间中国教会牧会, 2003年3月全家移民到加拿大, 在温莎华人宣道会负责国语事工,王牧師有三个男孩, 王师母也参与教会的儿童事工和圣乐事工 ，2020年7月我退休，回到了我紐約的母會-史德頓島華人基督教會(非宗派)，住在教會的宣教士退休之家，義務地幫助國語事工，師母還沒有退休，但因她公司允許她在家上班(以後長期如此)，所以現和我一起住在紐約。

三個兒子都已長大，老大學電腦，在加拿大溫莎市一家3D打印公司工作，老二讀化工，在美國加州一家航天公司工作，老三學醫，今年是加拿大倫敦市一家醫學院第四年，今年五月就畢業，現在倫敦市做住院醫。

Pastor KA

Pastor Lee Ka has served as the English Pastor of the Staten Island Chinese Christian Church since September 2000. Prior to being called to serve at SICCC, Lee worked in the Financial/Investment Banking industry for eleven years. Lee grew up at Oversea Chinese Mission and was a member of that church since 1977. He received his Master of Divinity from Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary in May 2000. Later that year, God led Lee and his number one supporter and wife, Joan, to SICCC. Lee and Joan are blessed to have three precious daughters: Teagan, Karis, and June.

PASTOR LEUNG

Pastor William Leung was born and raised in New York City. After receiving a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Syracuse University, he was an architect for 10 years before being called to full-time ministry. Upon the completion of his Master of Divinity degree from Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary, Will, along with his wife Esther, were led to Canada where he served as the English Ministry Youth Pastor for 6 years at Scarborough Chinese Baptist Church in Toronto. As a pastor at SCBC and lay leader at New York Chinese Alliance Church and Chinese Bible Church of Greater Boston, Will has been serving in youth ministry for over 12 years, and continues to heed God’s call to minister to youth with his role as Youth Pastor here at SICCC. As a part of that call, Will is also currently pursuing a Doctor of Ministry degree in Youth, Family, and Culture at Fuller Theological Seminary.

Will loves spending time with Esther and their two boys, Hudson and Emmett. In addition to family time, Will loves Yankees baseball, history, science fiction, TV, movies, playing sports and games. Will actually has many different hobbies and interests, which he would live to share with you, given the opportunity!
